The state of Wyoming has introduced Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), the first official stablecoin in the country. The asset is backed by the dollar and short-term government bonds with an additional reserve of 2%.

FRNT is already integrated into seven blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism and Base.
The token is not yet available for mass purchases: the launch of sales will take place after the completion of regulatory checks. The first operations will be possible through Kraken (Solana) and Visa Rain (Avalanche).

Meanwhile, Illinois Governor Jay Robert Pritzker has signed two laws to protect crypto users.
The first strengthens control over exchanges and companies, the second regulates cryptomats.
